Paying for Treatment
Dr. Vari does not participate in Medicare, Medi-cal or any other insurance plans. As such, he is considered an out of network provider. Patients pay Dr. Vari directly for their treatment at the time of each visit. Dr. Vari will provide you with a billing statement at the end of each month which you can submit to your insurance plan for reimbursement consideration.

Availability
Dr. Vari is accepting new patients. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM. Dr. Vari typically has same week availability.

Dr. Vari maintains a 48 business hour cancellation policy. 2 full business days’ notice is requested for changing or cancelling an appointment. For instance an appointment scheduled for a Monday or a Tuesday needs to be cancelled or changed on the preceding Thursday or Friday, respectively. Missed visits or late cancellations will be charged the full session fee. Regular followup is necessary for safe medical care.

Confidentiality
Dr. Vari firmly believes in and respects each patient’s right to confidentiality. Treatment of emotional difficulties is a very private and personal undertaking and it is important for you to feel that your treatment provider will respect your wishes for confidentiality. With a few legally required exceptions, Dr. Vari will not discuss any aspect of you or your treatment with a third party unless you have allowed this in writing. In rare cases when Dr. Vari is concerned that you may be at imminent risk of hurting yourself or others, Dr. Vari may contact appropriate authorities to ensure your safety and the safety of others. Like all health professionals, Dr. Vari is also required by law to report any instances of child or elder abuse to the State of California. In these rare instances, the need to discuss your treatment with another party will be discussed with you.
