Dr. Vari treats patients ages 18 and up. He specializes in treating psychiatric symptoms with a combination of medications and psychotherapy, as appropriate.

Your first visit with Dr. Vari will be 90 minutes long. This is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and, in most straightforward cases, Dr. Vari will be able to recommend a treatment course at the end of this meeting. If treatment is recommended, it will typically consist of psychotherapy (talk therapy), medications, or a combination of the two. Frequency of appointments and length of treatment is determined on a case by case basis.

Followup appointments that do not involve psychotherapy and are for medication management only are 25 minutes long.

Followup appointments that include psychotherapy are 45 minutes long. These appointments will include medication management as well if you are prescribed medication by Dr. Vari.
